Before I start the first think I'd like to point out is I searched (OMG)!!!! Searched "Ammo Truck" these are the closet things to my suggestion.

Also I checked the *** list for this
My suggestion
On maps like Karbala that are open to base raping why not have an ammo truck. That way you dont have to risk the Apache by going to your base constantly.
How it would work
Make it like a Logistics truck, meaning it drops Ammo Carts. Maybe something like this "Vehicles"

.
As X then it could drop Supply crates "Inf AMMO" with RMB.
Or have a Repair/Rearm truck like the Logistics where RMB drops Vehicle and X drops Repair Crates.

to model this would be prety cool, as an asthetic feature of an air base, which would improve the atmosphere and making it easier to distinguish where you can rearm in game.
to add to game as a gameplay element - unlikely. PR is just too smallscale to consider rearming at a FARP even for ground vehicles (let alone air vehicles).
karbala US base will be getting moved and completely redesigned so its a much more sensible defensive position.

Cool, Maybe I can convince wildstar to try to model the ammo cart.

I would like to see this as a static at airfields so you know where to rearm.

Well on maps like Karbala the team must designate a squad to make sure that the Apache doesnt get hit. This will just destroy gameplay on some maps imo.

P2KK, How? Think about it, this could also work with maps like Kashan too. How? In RL no they dont often rearm in the field, but the have the ability to when and if the have to.

Karbala's main is like retarded Manbearpig. Not only should it be shot in the face and replaced, but one shouldn't start changing the rules of society based on it. (No offense Killpirate

)

It is an interesting idea, but maybe it has to be done at FOBs? Since that is what they are, FOBs.
I doubt it is done much in real life, but I can see how it would be possible, most likely depending on the current battlefield conditions.
That said, with PR sized maps I see no need for it really.

I know Karbala's US base lacks substantial defenses (compared to Kashan's TOWs and AA stingers littering main) so that may be an exception and it was just mentioned that it will be upgraded and re-done.
On a large map where you have those defenses they should be used for this purpose. If you need to re arm ask stragglers at main to hop on those fine AA or TOW emplacements for a dome of death that shoots back
Like fuzzhead said the maps and environments seem too small to put this action, but it was a nice idea. Maybe a few could be added as statics to carriers or at main bases as a representation of the idea, but don't want to clutter the bases too much as people still struggle in taking off in a Huey or Airplane

Me included, that's why I gun lol

That gives me another idea, what about a deploy able asset for the FOB like Razor wire, but instead of a shovel you can use the wrench, but if it wouldn't go anywhere it could re-arm/repair infantry and vehicles.

E-2. FORWARD ARMING AND REFUELING POINT PRINCIPLES Principles.
a. The FARP is vital to the success of the aviation combat mission. Attack, air assault, and support aviation units depend on the FARP to provide fuel and ammunition where and when they are needed. A FARP is a temporary arming and refueling facility that is organized, equipped, and deployed by an aviation unit commander to support tactical operations. It is usually located closer to the AOs than the CSS area of an aviation unit. The FARP provides fuel and ammunition for aviation units in combat. The fluid situation of the battlefield demands that it be austere, transitory, and able to support specific mission objectives. It should be flexible enough to self-deploy or to be aerially inserted, and it must meet the class III/V needs of mission aircraft. The FARP increases the time on station for the commander by reducing the turnaround time associated with refueling and rearming. It is operated and organized according to the factors of METT-T.
Source (An Army field manual concerning the use of Cargo and Utility Helicopters).
Best definition I could find. It is very much realistic to rearm and refuel Snakes in the field.
