Today I spend a few of my hours setting up the BF2 Editor so I could get my hand on mapping and more importantly, making a custom map that I could load my future statics in.
First off, thanks for the great tutorials. Everything that I needed to know was in there. Than, I started working on a map following the DICE tutorials on that WIKI page. Ran in to some errors. Using the search function I discovered that these forums and than the community modding area are a treasury for almost anything a beginner might run in to!
Not gonna send every single person a private message so I'd thought of doing it this way
Now all I need is some time to get me started on building and import a custom static on a map and Im all set!
ps. The tutorials on mapping got my interest in mapping as well!
