I hope someone here can help me out with this. I have the Saitek x52 that I am currently using for this game, but the problem I am having is to do with the saitek profiler. I want to assign a button on the trust controller so that I can use it for in game chat, but each time I try to do this nothing happens.

Here is what I do to try to get this to work, in the profiler I click on a button - Fire E in this case. I then hit B (B is for speech on my keyboard) on my keyboard to combine it with Fire E and then name it speech. I save this as the name test1 and have it set as start up profile. Now I go into the game and press Fire E thinking that it will act as speech, but for some reason is doesn’t do anything. Am I supposed to save this profile to somewhere in battlefield or what else am I doing wrong here? Thanks!!

You may need to reload it in the profiler. Find the icon in the bottom right of your screen amongst all your active programs in the task bar, it looks like a small picture of the x-52 throttle. Right click it and select 'test'. I don't know if its because it doesn't load the default properly or not so loading again is worth a try.

Also make sure you haven't changed your default speech button. I change mine by default.

Dude thanks - so far so good. I had just forgot to load it in like you said. I may need a couple of other questions answering as I try to set this up, that's if you can spare the time. But thanks for that advice!! One other thing what does the Blue I key on the thrust controller represent on the keyboard? When I press it on the thrust controller it flashes as [..]
