I Think that they do for some reason. Anybody else share the feeling?

If they do it's pretty stupid.

Stupid ? at the beginning , the mod meant to add realism and the british faction.

they started this mod with the envision of getting the british army in full flavor into a bf2 mod. so early staged they did yes. but as of late ? not at all...

it has already been confirmed that .9 will focus more on OPFOR factions, british also have less maps than americans.

IMO the DEVS have the right to paint British flags on every wall if they want to and tell the players to worship them. It's their game.

Also, the whole mod origins from the British faction.

There are TWO AMERICAN teams.............

and they have stated that 90% of the next update is for REDFOR

EDIT - 80% sorry

In the last update the British LOST 3 maps.

The british got alot of love at the START because they were trying to build the team, and each subsequent team has been held to the same standards they set then imo.

So no, the British army has not been favoured.

Can i get a link on that 90% of next update is for OPFOR?

Maybe he meant in terms of gameplay instead of just assets? Not that I feel this way personally, just saying.

Zomg, PR has been infiltrated by british facsists!!

Funny that the guy who made this thread is american...everybody just wants their own country to be the most played in the game.

The Brits have in the past received alot of attention, but for obvious reasons, they were a completely new faction with no assets in game. They couldn't just be tweaked and added to over time like the other factions.

Since their introduction I don't think they've received massive amounts of focus to the detriment of other factions. The 2 US factions and the Taliban were the big winners last patch, and it will be Op For seemingly next (hopefully with the fleshing out of the Russians and the adding of community factions).

I'm sure some of the Devs like working on British stuff as they're British themselves, but then look at the community factions, it tends to be the guys with an interest in a country that make stuff for it.

A lot of the community is British which means more british development and suggestions.

Go play Americas army, no Brit forces there and loads of US loving m16 grabbing fanbois too.

For everyone else, this guy is wrong. As others have said, there was a lot of stuff made for the Brits. Now that is complete the focus is moving on. Yes the 90% OPFOR thing is happening.
