First of all I don't know if this is the right place to post this (if not move it pls) but it seemed the right place to post this.

I often get on a PR who says:

YOU MUST JOIN A SQUAD

Where can i get this script and how do I apply it on my server?

Is there any server admin who can help me out here?

its buletin into PR server side
to activate it you need to set PRSQUADLESS = 1
in realityconfig_common.py

Exactly as Jagular said. Use the function built into PR.

To turn it on, go into your Battlefield 2 Server folder, then mods\pr\python\game. Open up realityconfig_common.py with notepad or similar, and change the line "PRSQUADLESS = 0" to PRSQUADLESS = 1

MCI how are you a PR server admin and you are not registered in the forums as one?

Doesn´t the system only allow one admin and a few moderators? Maybe he is just part of the clan that has access, I assume.

I think we're mixing two things here. There's this script that kicks players off a server that don't join a squad within x seconds and another thing that displays a (personal) message saying you need to join a squad, which is what the topicstarter is talking about, I think.

Which is this:

To use it on your box:
- Open up __init__.py in mods/pr/python/game folder
- Add the following lines (the file tells you where to put it):

import ad_teamwork
ad_teamwork.init()

- Save the file
- Restart your server

You're done.

Will the message work on anouther mod? I doubt it since we edited the awards system to allow us to get that message?

No, that's just PR. He'll get some medal or badge message if he tries it in another mod, lol

Due financial problems we had to give it up but we're working on that atm, and only one of us got server admin status on the forums.

@AfterDune: I know your LiveBan Scripts and your Smartbalance/Adminscripts.
But Ive never realized your squadless-kick script.
Is there a overview over your fantastic scripts or are this just all?

The squadless kick script is built in PR, I haven't written it. My script (it's tiny, barely a script ) just gives a private message to all squadless players every 10 seconds, saying "You must JOIN A SQUAD". And that's it really .

I guess that's all, yeah. I've written more scripts, but the admin, smartbalance and global ban are the most relevant ones.
