i could not find the info so started this.

when logging into the game, looking for a server to play on, ive noticed that each time i "update list" the list changes 70%, in asking around most folks show 150 servers. i just show 40

BF2 has a server filter chk list, but i dont see one for PR


why the disparity in servers available / active? am i missing something?

come on folks.. at least post how many you see when you login?


i will hit the "update list" every 10 secs and the list changes.

HOW can i get it to just show ALL servers

big maps and med and small maps, have those checked?

idk about the server thing, but there used to be a server list thing, and pr autochanges you server list to only show maps with the correct esstensials if im saying it write, like i know it changes it so it only shows servers w/ punkbuster...

Server filters aren't the problem. You cannot change them in PR, they are hardcoded to the correct settings. Your problem is most likely due to firewall and/or gamespy screwing up.

150+ servers.

It sometimes happens to me and I have to restart my internet router.
i.e. unplug the power for 15 seconds and plug it back in. It works.

thanks. ive never seen more than 40 at any one time, after playing PR for some 50+ hours so far, and like i said the list will change every time i refresh.

PB or gamespy? never messed with those settings,

and ya PR WONT let you filter servers,

so thats why I am asking why cant i see the 150+ the rest of you see?

90% of the servers are empty all the time anyways, just join one of the ones with people in it.

ya but servers with less than 100 ping and populated are at most 5 from my location in Arkansas. need a better selection of populated low ping servers.

also if this just my comp which i doubt then there could be lots of servers not getting populated because folks don't know they are there.

When did I say anything about PB? That's got nothing to do with it...

By gamespy, I meant gamespy could be having problems reporting the server list to you, in which case it could be firewall issues blocking it, router might need restarting, that sort of stuff. Not much I can help you to sort it out since it's different for everyone.

Ya game spy has trouble every once n a while you can always check Gamemonitor.com for PR servers if you want.
