Hi there,

I got a question for the DEV's. (read: not a suggestion, to clear stuff up) How come you're using the more 1970's like Huey, rather then the more updated UH-YH1 Huey.

It won't have much notable gameplay difference compared to the current one, but it does look better. But I'm aware that graphical stuff is very low priority for the DEV's. But I was just wondering.

The good ol' vietnam huey is way more sexier then the huey venom (the big thing underneath the rotorblades is fugly)so i dont mind the old one staying.

I think they have the old huey just becus they could get it from OPK or EOD,so it was easier to reskin the UH-1N instead of moddeling the huey venom

Im serious, if they brought it in cause it sexy... Then thats fine... I find it yummy...

!? the huey in PR IS the modern version, that one on ur pic is just a bid more specialized, the old 70s huey was more like this it had a single turbine and a more stubby nose

like the previous posts, i would rather have the current one than the one in the picture, its a bit off reality but hey, where else can u experience hitting the beach in a huey on Operation Barracuda like you would in Vietnam (or Apocalypse Now)

Definitely still the current variant. As far as I know the UH-1Y is an upgrade project/new purchase plan.

I think I read somewhere that the version in the picture was used by the Canadians... I think it was like in the Canadian CF, there was a discussion about the Huey... I might just be hallucinating, so, you don't 100% have to believe me.
