Don't you hate when you just had an awesome round with your squad and then the round suddenly ends and you never see them again.
My suggestion is to add like maybe half a minute or a minute before the loadingscreen pops up. For sort of a debrief ye know, chat up about how much u pwned or got pwned, what went wrong, maybe make arrangements for a squad next round, that sorta stuff.
Of course you have the whole round to do it but my experience is that sometimes rounds end very sudden and its over before u know it.
what do u think?

Is that so? I never knew that, i always thought that was a sorta bug or something. That it only works for someone who was talking the second the round ends and his VOIP will like stay enabled when the next map loads. I didnt know everyone could still use it, definately gonna try that later on.

Agree as well. Though I always see alot of names I recognise, but maybe there could be created a 'friends list' of some sort. If possible.

Don't forget to allow team chat and all-chat, so you can TAUNT your opposition for their complete FAIL. =)
"Ok Team, next time - pay attention to enemy firebase deployments. We told you the INFIDELS were building a WAL-MART at D4 KP3" =)
- JM40.
And Yes, as Rhino suggests - Use MUMBLE!

I find you can talk on VOIP after the game had ended, you can also talk on mumble during loading

incorrect.
if the round ends and you have your voip button pushed, the other squaddies will be able to hear you weather or not your button is held down. its an old BF2 bug. but you cannot control it. however, a clever modder might be able to take advantage of the bug somhow. but i would have the foggiest myself.

The other day i heard some guy having a chat with his mum about what was for dinner that evening, really funny stuff, it ended with: "ok chicken sounds fine... have we got sauce?"
Cracked me up no end... anyway yeah if this system was implementable that would be great.

OK, so the fact is that it doesn't really work right now unless u are coincidentally talking when the round ends.
And yea of course with teamspeak and mumble u can do it but the fact is that the far majority of players just use the ingame voip.
And also i think part of the charm is that u end up with new guys in your squad every time, not just the people u arranged to meet in the mumble or teamspeak channel. Then if things go well and u communicate well u bond a bit u know and also most rounds tend to go on for at least an hour. I just think it's a bit of an anticlimax when u suddenly get cut off with those guys u just spend all that good times with.
Adding a minute to chat up without bullets flying around would add alot to the "community" feeling i think.
Possibility?

This is exactly what the mod needs. Recently, I had my first round as Squad Leader and when the round ended I wanted to thank my squadies for putting up with me but to my horror, I couldn't.
It would simply put the finishing touch to a great round of a great mod.
