When I came here from vanilla (as an experienced BF2 sniper) I was overjoyed that you guys took out the ghillie suits, I can't imagine how much you would stick out in Kashan or some other map. I was happy. Until I played.

Awesome map if you don't mind me saying. (The brits have the coolest gear). And then we've got our dear friends the SNIPER. They enjoi long headshots on the beach and strawberry filled chocolates....and his bald head (ew). Just like you change the camo on vehicles and on soldiers, you can change wether the sniper is wearing a ghillie suit or not? Maybe work it over, but I'm mainly saying put it in on maps like Operation Archer (not sure if its the only one), where you will blend in really well with the surroundings

Edit: yes I read some other sniper hide/ghille threads, but all I'm saying is put an old BF2 model into service again

ghillies don't render at distance, so it won't change anything at all if they're used or not, you'll still stick out like a sore thumb even while wearing one.

just like Tannhauser said, Ghille suits don't render over distance. so adding them won't fix anything.

...welcome to the forums but please realize that we try to keep a tight lid on repeat threads. And on top of that nothing you posted really give a good reason to bring it back other that "its looks cool". As Tannhauser said, it doesn't render at distance so its only a "Graphics" thing.
