hey all,

working on a custom mod for myself and some friends and have made many modifications to the vbf2 kits. they are slightly overpowered now lol. Because of this my team is walking through the map because the mec forces still have crappy guns. i want to enable kit requests at flags for my mod so i can revert all the kits to default so my team isnt too overpowered, hopefully it will keep thing a little more fair

can some one give me some pointers or ideas of where to start looking for files regarding kit requesting for vbf2.

the other thing i want to solve is the fact that i cant change the bot ratio for a certain map, i can do it to all vbf2 maps becasue they have coop in the create local menu, but on a certain map, (its actually the opertation blackhawk down level that used to be in pr) it doesnt have coop so i can get at all the features. i have tried editing the "server settings" in the my documents folder but had no luck.

this is a minute question in comparison to the kit request tho, im much more concerned about that.

In all honesty, not really interested in helping you with BF2

With that said, BF2 does not have pick up kits per say, like in PR.
Nor can you request a kit (like at the supply crates) in BF2 like you can in PR?
(I haven't played BF2 in soo long i can't remember if you can request a new kit at the flags while alive or not, actually???)

And if you happen to be phil_k at BFSP, I recommend asking those guys as they are real good at sh*t like this.
