Hi, I was looking at some pictures the other day of USMC attack Hueys. And it seems that most of them had pintle-mounted machine guns, either an M134, M240, or an M2. Does anyone else think this might be a good idea for smaller maps where the armor killing abilities of the AH1 Cobra are not needed, but there are still some soft-armored vehicles (Such as Operation Barracuda)?

Feel free to disagree, but I think it is a decent idea. All you'd need is to add the 2 gunners for a total of 4 crewmen.

I like this idea, the only way we can do something like that now is to use an AR kit. And that's no fun.

and THAT barely works... I was 20m away from my target and my shots were spread out about 50m

Hueys with guns on the side, be they miniguns, M60s or what have you have been discussed several times before on these forums. If you wish to continue the discussion, please direct your attention here.
