I'm the leader of the #KFS# Team. We have finished the french translation of PR. It's currently in beta test and it should come out this weekend.

After 2 days of Beta-test the result is very conclusive. That's why I can now set a release date for PRFrench! v1.00.

The version will be released on Friday 24 April at 18:00 GMT+1. It will be available exclusively on our site (Kill For Survive : une team Battlefield 2 : Project Reality ...)

Introduction :
La team #KFS# a créé pour vous le patch FR pour Project Reality, un mod de Battlefield 2. Ces 4 fichiers remplacent les termes anglais présents par des termes Français. Ce n'est que la version 1.0 donc si vous voulez nous faire part de bugs ou encore de fautes d'orthographe, vous pouvez aller sur notre site web : Kill For Survive : une team Battlefield 2 : Project Reality ...

Installation :
- Téléchargez le fichier ici.
- Dezippez l'archive
- Copiez les 4 fichiers
- Allez dans ce répertoire : ... \ EAGAMES \ Battlefield \ mods \ pr \ localization \ french
- Collez les 4 fichiers dans ce répertoire
- Cliquez sur "Oui" pour copier et remplacer les fichiers
- C'est bon, vous pouvez lancer le jeu

Il n'y aura pas des problemes avec Punkbuster, si vous remplacez des fichiers comme ca? Puisque le MD5 va etre different?

Won't there be problems with Punkbuster if you replace files like that? Since the MD5 will be different?

If your up for translation just state the language your going to work on, and we can post this file somewhere so others can use it (you can just replace this file without any problems from punkbuster).

Hey, good job on the localisation. I would however suggest that you wait until 0.86 before doing any more work. The localisation has changed heavily in this version to make things easier for translation, and you will have to redo it from scratch.

Anyway, one thing I noticed. Some text is too long, and isn't fitting properly, ie, in this shot:

Some of the text is too long for the button it's meant to fit into. You should either choose another word, or make the text smaller. For example, instead of "PLACE RALLY POINT", perhaps just having "PLACE RALLY" or "PLACE RP" would do. It just looks pretty bad when the text is too long.

I am about to start working on the 0.86 translation (https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f66-pr ... sages.html), and was wondering if you mind my using of your translation as a base?
