Ok this might sound d*** since i'm not trying to make it myself, but I just can't learn the map maker, just can't get my head around it, I'll stick to modelling (like a kamaz 43114)
I think with the chechens and the russian faction, a Pripyat/Chernobyl map would be cool. I searched both terms, only got 1 hit from Chernobyl, and that was PR for CoD4
:: Prypeæ (Pripyat, Prypiat) trip by www.opuszczone.com ::
This idea came about when I saw the alert from Rhino about the Russian Apartment Buildings, and I instantly saw the Pripyat zone from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:Shadow of Chernobyl(I've been playing that during the week

)
I always enjoy teh street fighting that occurs in this part of the level, even though its against AI, but it's always intense.
I wouldn't suggest the whole city, it would probably be too model intensive, and the models you'd have to make just to get a feeling of the city would be too much an issue, like it would be a 1+ year project at least. The powerplant I think would be cool, but I don't think its a 1 map worthy project, but having either a distant model so you can have an idea of being near the reactor(hence the game's name shadow of chernobyl) or a building you can enter yourself.
What you guy's think?

Hmm, maybe the Chechenz are searching for some usable stuff here and have hid some equipment, maybe they found a secret bunker that was lost in documents after the "Big Bang" and the chechenz have found out about its location... maybe that kind of story thing, that could be a cage search or a S&D map with the whole "Secret Bunker" thing i just said
I think that would be a great map actually

Are we fighing the PLA? Or the MEC? Are the MEC even real? No, anyway I think this just would be fun and an interesting map and different from the forest fighting that seems prevelent with the Russians vs Chechens

PR basicly has no theme or story.
And also the chechens might aswell be a generic russian liek militia faction, like it used to be,only a name should not matter.
i also demand bloodsucker and stalker kits

I'd rather march into ocean...
well, its a possible terrorist target to get resources, use regular explosives mixxed with radioactive goodies and blow it up somewhere,so the place would get radiated for years, like an important harbour or airfield.

no,most radiation isnt something that kills you instantly, unless its a really high dosis, and you can infact stand right infront of the plant itself without getting alot of radiation poisoning.
If radiated there is a big possibility of getting disseases like cancer, but fanatical terrorist probably wont even think about that, and just deal with thier job.
Tough i doubt if they would be able to acces the wate and debris that are radiated enough to do deadly damage once triggered in use with explosives, the national health autoritys would not allow anyone to go into the contaminated zone due to health reasons,if its either leathal or not.so its a good way of area denial for terrorists.
this info is from the top of my head so i could be wrong on some parts.
Also the part about the radiated waste+explosivs is from a book written by either Andy McNab or Chris Ryan, cant remember the name of the book tough, ive been reading alot of books from both of them.
