In any situation, firebases, supply crates, spawn points, I'm unable to request kits. Hit "T" and the only thing that comes up is the circle for requesting an officer kit. There are no other options to move the mouse up and down to. Has happened since I installed the game. Any ideas?

Left clicked once?

Yup. Unable to get anything to appear other than request officer kit.

Because you are the commander, the commander can only request an officer kit.

You cannot request kits off of Fire bases or Rally points only the big crates.

i've never been a commander of squad leader, only a squad member. the big crates don't work either. i've had 10 guys on voip trying to help me get a kit, the option doesn't appear. only the big circle to request an officer kit, which it wont give me either, lol.

Can you take a picture of this bug? Maybe the request kit part of the mod got messed up someway somehow. I've never experienced or heard of this problem until now.

We had this bug in a match once, nobody could get any kits at all, just shows up blank. A server restart fixed it.

this is on any map, anytime, as a squad member. photos attached.

from the screenshots, it looks lke you release 'T'. keep hold of it, left click request kit, then the list will appear. make sure you HOLD 'T', or it'll come up like in your screenshots

Hold T, Click it when it highlights and keep holding T and select your kit, Don't let go of T until it says your kit has been accolated.

Are you left-clicking? Right-clicking won't work, and that's a habit from vBF2 spotting.

i am definately holding t, and left clicking it.

That's what your kit request comm-rose should look like as a leader (image 1) and commander (image 2) respectively. References; to help us solve this problem.

In a round, preferably on a training server, Apply for the position and wait for the confirmation. Press Page Up to Accept the position.

Go to a crate/APC and click and hold T. Click on Request Officer Kit, and see if you get a kit spawned at your feet after the message "Your kit had been ALLOCATED and is at your feet". Move back if you can't see it initially. Press G to grab it.

Then, become a Squad Leader in the same training server, same round. As you're a new squad leader, you probably don't have squad members. No biggie.

As SL, go to a crate, hold T, left-click on Request Kit, move mouse down to Crewman and Pilot after sub-menu appears, like in image 1. Click Crewman or Pilot. After the kit allocation message, press G to pick it up.

Now, join another person's squad. Go to a crate, hold T, left-click, request Crewman or Pilot kit. G to pick up.

Now, the above may not work. Are you able to access the selection of kits and see them?

Also, how large is your 'pr' mod folder? Look here: drive letter:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods . Hover your pointer over the 'pr' folder. Mine's 3.22 gb, with no extra levels/maps.

If we can't find a way to fix it, you may have to re-install PR again after uninstalling it.

well, i've already re-installed pr and levels, no change. folder is 3.22GB. and none of the above seem to work, there are no selection choices, only the center of the circle that says request officers kit.

Try going commander and resigning. Or even try requesting the kit by a crate as a commander.

Can you request the officers kit?

You always say your circle says: "Request Officer Kit"

But on your screenshots it only says "Request Kit". So I guess once you click left on that "Request Kit" the "Request Officer Kit" appears?

-Cyrus, dude, I always right-click to get into kit selection. Sampson, press n' hold "T", right click on "Request kit", then a list should come up where you can select a kit, left click the kit and pick it up.

That's odd. Whenever I play, I always left-click to access the kit selection tier. Right-clicking does nothing for me.

Perhaps our controls are different, thus we use different buttons? My left-click is for firing, right-click for aiming/throwing. I'll get a screenshot of my controls so we can compare. Uploaded and ready for viewing.

Sampson, the problem isn't with your resolution. I tried it myself and could request kits. Maybe it's a control discrepancy?
