well i started thinking.....if the German forces are bringing scopes with irons attached which i completely hate and disagree with not because its realistic but because what it will do to game play IMO....but that's besides the point...anyways the point is most m16/m4 come with 2 sets of irons...the cqb iron which is the one in game and the long range iron (smaller peephole) so what if this was implemented with say a slight zoom but not as much as acogs and such...like 2x or lower.....so that's the suggestion........thought?

You have not yet tried the German Forces so how do you know that it will be bad for gameplay.

the SUSAT on the L85s also has "backup irons" on it but they are not usable ingame since there is no good way of doing it...

CA im not trying to bash it as it is in game im dislike it cuz it will be like having the best of both worlds.....by taking out the disadvatage.......but i dont really care...........sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome stuff there keep on beta testing

Why will the germans not get any optics? I've seen G36's, they have optics built into the weapon.

i thought the g36s werent going to have any iron sights at all. i think the op has it mixed up.

I would say so. German equipment has always been state of the art, they're not going to be using old ironsights.

Seriously...I guess they just do like having the best in everything. Oh hey lets make the G36, a lightweight super accurate assault rifle. Wait, now lets go make a great lines of pistols. Hm, we're bored, oh lets go make a cutting edge submachine gun. Hm, while where doing those lets just revamp the USAF'S primary personal assault rifle.

I know right? both United States (future one) and current British infantry rifle are made with help of H&K. I mean why would self proclaimed No.1 country in the whole world would want to get help from some tiny country in Europe for such important task as making what would be the backbone of military it self. The Infantry Rifle? German engineering.

As for the optic. As you know the emergency Iron sight is as useful as handgun ironsight which will only tell you which way the weapon is pointing at. But if you put that in game, any kind of iron sight is going to be as accurate as other iron sight. Even with those disadvantages, being able to use both type of sight if real rifle have one will add to reality.
