i reinstalt bf2 but in what order do i need to patch cuz when i directly do 1.22 i get patching failed

You need to install BF2, then whatever extras you have like SF/EF then install the patch. But if you have just reinstalled BF2 you need to make sure you have the full patch and not the incremental patch, otherwise it won't work.

i got the full patch but still get patching failed

Did you try unistalling all of bf2 and expansion packs then reinstalling and applying the patches annoying i know but usually works.

Well I have no idea. Me personally i say talk to EA themselves and hope for the best.

here is the patches i patched with last night. Its weird but here we go
1.12incremental> 1.22> 1.2_-_1.21incremental> JUST BF2 patches

Then for PRMM
PRMMO.2rev1patch> prmm0.2fullinstall> prmm_254setup

You installed PR in the wrong order I believe;

PRMM 0.2 Full Install > PRMM 0.2 Rev1 Patch > PRMM 254

I think that's what you need to be doing. Anyone else confirm? It's been a while now...

Those were the patches I had, not sure if thats the way i installed them, didnt have to reinstall PR just battlefied so I thought thats the way they went. just trying to help a brother out.

It shouldn't be a few days for .3 hopefully so yeah.

Here's what worked for a guy in my clan with the same problem...

Install BF2, install the full 1.22 patch, install the 1.21 patch. It's ok if you get an error on the 1.21 patch. Apparently some files may have been missed with the 1.22 patch that are fixed by the 1.21 patch, even when it errors out... give it a shot.. it's worth trying

PRMM 0.254 is a full install and does not need any prior versions of PRMM installed.

PRMM 0.306 is a full install and should be available tomorrow morning.

not even a patch so i can just instal bf2 without patching and then instal prmm?

Bf2 will need to be patched to the latest version [1.22]
