[Recruiting] Skinner & Coder

Im am the leader of the Cold War Minimod for PR. :smile:

We are aiming to create a Cold War minimod that will be an additional download to PR. Similar to the community factions. In a way we are trying to create a FPS version of World in Conflict. So we have high standards to reach. We have a simple design plan set out on the original topic post.
The minimod will mainly be comprised from vehicles in other Black Sand Studio mods (Eve of Desruction and US Intervention).This will save time since we are using rescorses that a realily avilible and thats why this is a minimod.
I am still waiting for permission from EoD and USi if we can use their models and vehicles. If they say yes we can begin skinning and coding.


We are looking for a skinner/texture artist who is able to reskin vehicles.

We are also looking for a Coder who will be recoding the vehicles from EoD and USi to PR specifications.


We have a basic team together:

J.F.Leusch69 - Put together the test build, he might do some coding.

torenico - Mapping

Pte.Paynter - Modeling a few things, if not more.

Rambo Hunter- Retextured the US and USSR soldiers to 1985

CaptWildstar - Military Advisior, tells us about the Cold War stuffs

DeltaFart - Supporter, i think he can model and texture. He hasnt said anything yet about chipping in.

Naruto-kun - Supporter, tester, good ideas in this guys head.

Panzerfire - Supporter, still hasnt istalled PR yet... :wink:

Sights - Made the minimods banner, helping with artistic stuff, he is still learning to texture.

Me - Mapping in the near future.

We could also do with another modeler, but this will do for now if you also have any modeling skills that would be great.

well, I'd like to help with coding, but I'f only just started learning python (only language I know a little of). On the other hand, if a coder wants help and agrees to teach me along the way, I'd be glad to join in.

Yeah we have 3 threads for one minimod cos otherwise people wouldnt bother looking into it since its not what their looking for. So i create a new one to advertise it better. Sorry

We are still looking for at least 1 skinner, they have to be able to complete at least 1 vehicle from EoD or USi or PR.

Heres the list of vehicles to choose from.

The ones with Reskin donoted next to them are avilible for skinning:
The ones with Code next to them will require coding
If there are also any modelers, maybe they could do some small projects like making the Assasult rifle scopes or nade launchers or making the M60A1 a M60A3.

I think you should recruit someone who can make the Lightmap in 3DSMAX for the AF Statics..

Yeah personally i dont have 3DSMax or know how to use it. So if i have finished with my map i could give it to someone who knows how so they can lightmap its. Resuly. AF statics are there.

We still need at least 1 more skinner for now....
Maybe another coder?

you cant use AF Statics. PR isn't Allowed to use them

because DICE Gives us access to the Files provided by PR. None more. That means no AF or SF or Whatever boosters there are.

Only files allowed are ones included in pr folder.

Well i was hoping we could have used the highway section, on AFs Operation:Road Rage.
This means lots of the urban maps we need to start making buildings.
Dont worry though the first few maps of the minimod will be farm land, custom statics arent really needed.

I PMed you guys but i didnt get a reply yet, maybe i didnt but i just think i did PM you....
