has any one seen this map played on any servers recently?

i cant remember the last time i played it

when was the last time you played it?

is this map bugged or is it just no one likes this map anymore?

would any one like to see it on a server?

Recently played this map . Its in rotation on diferent servers like Virginia server and I believe that in Chicago Hardcore too.

just add mestia to the list of maps that never get played anymore. including qinling, fools road, and probably a couple others that i cant think of right now. im sure some people are playing these maps somewhere, but in my area i never see them. im not sure why this is, these are good maps. but its seems like most servers in my area only concentrate on a few maps its a shame.

Well, some time ago i played Mestia and ... well, I know why noone likes it anymore.
They removed all flags apart from two and gave them a really big flagrange. So, if the teams are spread out a bit its very hard to get at least one of the flags. Of course, it is possible, but for me it was not fun. Its prity similar to Sunset City (one flag - noone plays it anymore) ore Road to Kyongan Ni (One flag - noones likes it). Thats just a kind of deathmatch aroud the flag and no PR-Feeling.

I think thats one of the reasons why noone plays Mestia anymore...
In former releases it was one of my favorite maps, but now...

well, i see it quite often, surely more than Kozelsk, Al Kufrah, QInling
just played it 2 hours ago at IGI server, one of the best PR maps imo, it kicks *** at infantry fighting

hmm, maybe try play more on EU servers?(my guess you usually play at America's)

i've played mestia on iGi server, was a nice round.

Just come of after a game of it, still a very good map.

Sunset City is one of the better maps they made because it was one flag.

Mestia, Fools and Sunset can be found on our servers rotation so yes, some servers have them and I personally like those maps very much

Yuhp play Mestia regularly, lot of the time on the iGi server and its one of my favourites, hardly get through a week without playing on it at least once.

Not sure how thats relevant to this particular thread, especially as Sunset City is misplaced in PR, it is much too small and plays in a very similar way to vanilla BF2 which is the complete opposite of what PR is meant to be.

Oh and yeah played fools road a couple times recently, had an epic round fighting over the hilltop estate not long ago

I love Mestia (played it on TG and iGi)! I always love to ambush trucks on road screaming ALLAH AKHBAR!

P.S. To take out BRDM-2 you need two IED's

huh? i owned it with 1 RKG and 1 or 2 clips from AK-47 into its back

I placed the IED on a tree, 0,5 m from the ground. BRDM-2 drove right beside it. KA-BOOM and the BRDM-2 was smoking (not burning). Happened lots of times, by the way.
