Here is what i saw under a forum topic for the PR v0.85 update.

-Royal Air Force Chinook HC2
Planning ahead for future releases, we have been creating the RAF Chinook HC2 for the British Forces. The Chinook is the life blood of the British Army currently in Afghanistan; transporting and re-supplying ground forces over large areas of desert in a quick and effective manner. To that end, we can't wait to see this flying around on [R-DEV]Dr Rank's 'Sangin' in the not too distance future. The model and texture are both the work of [R-DEV]Stigger, who is putting a lot of hard work into the Chinook, which as you can see is really taking shape!

...why only for the British?

Firsty, whats up with the SAS in the title? I think the Americans are going to get it for other maps as well.

1. there are no SAS in PR.
2. the text was in context with a new map (sangin) which features british army hence the british tone.

Like Welshy said, what is up with the SAS? Britain does have other troops you know, not just l33t sp3c 0p5!!11!1one!1!

You're looking at Brits, US, Canada, Dutch, etc. getting their mitts on this beast eventually. Can't wait for the unmistakable sound of that beast on a battlefield.

thank you! I know the brits have more than the SAS, its just call of duty 4 experience =P sorry, lock the thread please. In the foretelling post for the chinook i only saw it being given to the brits.

Where does it say that the Chinook will only be for the Brits?

IIRC, the Canadians (might) be getting it, too?
