Give collaborator one ammo bag

The title says it all. No new weapons to collaborator class, just one ammo bag. As insurgent fighters doesn't have it anymore, then what if collaborator was used for ammo transfer? He's not totally innocent civilian, but he doesn't fight in the front line either, so he could be bush doctor, ammo delivery guy and provide roof access with his grappling hook.
This way we could see more of this class in use and ppl with rpgs etc. wouldn't have to stand right next to cache all the time

I'd rather see the shotgun INS class get it, myself - it's nice that the medic civvy collaborator has completely clean hands, war wise, apart from their "mobile phone", which hardly gets used anyway.

Sounds like a good idea.

I wonder if it would be possible for colaborators to have a back pack full of ammo .. people stand next to them and regain ammo like a medic pack in Regular Bf2. A sort of ammo runner

Or stick around the cache and protect it. Now you have a UNLIMITED ammo reload. See where this is going

But what if you want to go onto a roof, to get a clear RPG shot at a helicopter, or snipe down range. You can't afford to get noticed retreating to the cache to get ammo, missing precious shots in the meantime. See where this is going?

Nope

This is the whole idea behind caches.

Then why we have the intel system?
You can't have both: cache being hidden and closely defended at the same time.

Precisely my point. No ammo for civvies; but the shotgun INS kit would benefit from it IMO.

Yeah, no ammo for civies, kills the whole point. Either keep reloads at cache only or give shotgunner extra ammo.

They've been kind of terrorists since day 0, because there are situations where they can be shot and killed without punishment. They aren't even called civilians anymore, but collaborators. Giving them one ammo bag wouldn't change this situation in any way as they still couldn't shoot or blow anyone up. But being able to resupply ammo would make them more important help and catch for both ins and coalition respectively.

And this gives the cache location away when the coalition see an rpg guy running back into one house continuosly. When he can stay in his ambush point protecting the cache as the civie brings him ammo. I think this is an great idea.

This would surely bring more tactic elements for the game.
RPG guys with civis and even more civis.
Cache would still be the main supply of ammo, but it would allow sappers/rpg people to set up ambushes more easily.
Even thou INS side is atm little overpowered i would say the suggestion is a good one.
This allready happen IRL if i remember correctly (stories about woman transporting ammo under their skirt or something)
