Could we have new area attack sounds such as the artillery which could have the "crump" of the round being fired and then you hear the round screaming through the air before the sound of impact. The video i was going to use as anexample of this has been taken down but im sure you could find some on Liveleak or Youtube.


Also IRL you can hear the sound of the Jet which is dropping dropping the JDAM long before the actual impact as they dive and release bombs and guide it in so that there is time for an abort. Then you hear the impact, then the sound of the jet engine, fading out along with the sound of debris whizzing past you. Doesnt actually do damage but would be a cool effect.

mmm actually with the jet, if u are far enough from the Jdam site where it's going to land without being too far away, you'll hear some jet noises about...8? seconds from impact

I think a jet sound like you hear on Korengal b4 a JDAM is dropped would actually enhance gameplay rather than hinder it, no1 likes being killed by the offmap arty, it feels like vbf2 when it happens (though its extremely rare) I think the feeling of "Oh F*** JDAM incoming!!!" and the resulting running away would be as gameplay orientated as possible.

Ha Ha, I wish all the gun sounds in PR sound like the ones in Far Cray 2.

I want something so loud it bursts your eardrums if your speakers are off.
