I had made a topic on this before, but never got DEV feedback. Will the mini gun sounds on the AH-6 Little bird be changed? I hate the old BF2 mini gun sounds. Combined Arms, have AMAZING M134 mini gun sounds. I strongly suggest, (with CAS's permission), to use those sounds and implement them into PR. When I fire a mini gun in the game, I want to here a Grinding RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR sound, not a whistling sound.

like the A10 Minigun sound? that would sound better but not as intense as the a10s

I'm sure it's being looked into. But since the DEVs have used sounds from videos before maybe you could take a look at these?

^^ Those videos are good examples, and yea the old vBf2 mini gun sounds have kind of bothered me it gets annoying after a while .

Not from youtube we haven't. It compresses audio like nobody's business; you'll never get a sound sample worthy of being in-game off a YT video!

IIRC, Combined Arms hasn't changed any of the sounds, simply upped the speed so it sounds a lot better, I changed it in my PRSP

EDIT: Did that weather balloon beat the friggin minigun!? It was still standing

lol I think the guy is a bad aim didn't look like he hit it at all.
I agree I realy don't like the VBF2 sounds when all our other weapons sound realistic.
Also I have a bit of a problem my min guns on the Blackhawk only appear as black boxes that spin never used to happened havent changes my settings apart form my terrain to reduce lagg? Should I change it back?

The sound on the Hummer when pressing X is from Youtube, so I just thought...

ive allrdy suggested a thing about miniguns in whole but they say its gonna be replaced whit the realistic m240 so i think this is very low priority

Yeah they're not gonna be around for long now with any luck so there's not much point in changing it.

Did I say anything about the Black Hawk? If you read the OP, I said on the AH6 Little bird. Surely there aren't going to be M240's on the LB?

Ooops yeah good point, was riding on the post above me and a bit of a reflex action, cos most posts about miniguns seem to be banging on about the ones on blackhawks... ??:
