I have put my ticket up regarding the GUID issues i have. Getting banned from all the servers i join.. wtf?

And! A friend told me that I need to buy a new BF2..? Is this the only option i got left?

So if i buy the new BF2 will my IP affect anything?

I have heard you can ask EA for a new GUID if you can prove somehow that its been "stolen", but I dont know if thats even possible, let alone if EA will do it.

How do i contact EA games regarding my GUID then?

Maybe you should play another game if you were placed on the Master Ban List. I assume it wasn't done lightly.

I have been playing BF2 since 2006 and i havent cheated once, hacked nor done anything like that. The worst thing I've done is to destroy assets in vBF2 and that was a while ago. And when taking the issue up with T&T they told me that these names came up on my guid

However, in the case of P2KK there's the fact that it's a leaked GUID. Punksbusted's player database clearly shows it used by 2 different people, on 2 different continents. Looks like it's the American that got banned - not P2KK, but the fact remains it's not a legit key.

I am writing to EA games atm and lets see what they have to say..

I haven't played PR for a number of weeks because somehow someone hacked my account and got it banned for using illegal macros. I'm just gonna get a new game (although all aussie places are out of BF2). I feel your pain, and it was a real bummer but I'll live. I've been playing Bf2 since 2006 too lmao

I know how you're feeling P2KK, almost the exact same thing happened to me. I thought that these incidents were rare, but it appears a lot of people are getting their GUID stolen somehow. Maybe an exploitable bug in PB's code or something...?

PB do have alot of errors, and sometimes throw around a few too many kicks or bans. A friend i used to play alot of COD4 with got put on the ban list because it noticed addons in WoW were being used so kicked him for that.
