More Camoflauge on Ordinary Soldiers.

I'm not talking about Snipers or ghillie suits or w.e
I also know that Camoflauge on PR doesn't have an effect at long distances.
However, a little bit of grass sticking out of their helmet and from around their waist covering their backs would help greatly at close range.
Soldiers in real life do this, infact they do it alot to help themselves not be seen.
This should only be implemented in the Jungle maps where you can actually hide eg. Operation Ghost Train, Tad Sae, and Bi ming.

Implementations cannot be map specific im afraid.

It would be if they split up the forces into 2 separate armys (urban+desert version and jungle version) and redid the models for the jungle version.

Vege that's wrong, it can be done as a Object Client zip. each model will have to have the geometry yet on a desert map you would change the image (grass) to a desert type or nothing.

Yarp - have toyed with the idea of different kit geometries for conventional forces on Insurgency/Non-Insurgency maps.

I also have played around with similar idea - i have two different kits working, one for War time maps and another for peace keeping maps...
This is possible but is it worth it? would it work??? I mean the gullie suits never worked coz the whole map isnt just one color so you can blend in... Would it not be that same here?

A bit of facepaint at the least would be cool, that'd still render at distance too cos it wouldn't be part of the kit geometry (wouldn't it?).

Then how do you explain NATO forces having desert and woodland camo ingame?

Normally they use a slight bit more than that

but just on their helmet and a little on thier backs, it would help at close range so I think would be worth it, making soldiers impossible to see would be wrong, but making it harder to see (which means it doesn't matter if different palces are different colours

)

^ was gonna say, "why has he put some spinach on his head?"
Retextures rather than remodling might be a better allocation of resources to get the uniforms better for concealment using more muddy patches, and dirt etc, facepaints etc. But Tonnie etc know better than me the problems associated with changing geos etc.

If you put grass etc. on the otuside them it rbeaks up your outline making you less recognisable.

I think this is a good idea, i like the idea of just standing there like a bush lmao, however there is only a few maps this would work on effectivly ghost train, koelsk and the other russain one and mainly due to the density of the map its a good idea but one that needs a good look at.

Other Maps would be Bi ming, Tad Sae, maybe Battle For Qinling, Fools Road, Assault on Mestia, and other foresty/jungle maps.
