Bring Back the Spawncar!

Title Says it all.

Insurgency Battles - usually not enough Hideouts placed.

Solution: 1 Spawncar (a la 0.5 days) allowed for Insurgies. 20 min respawn delay when destroyed.

That is all. =)

Just because people don't use the hideouts doesn't mean we need to replace them with spawncars.

With the new version's reductions in intel points for squad leader kits more insurgent SL's should be able to place outposts and they should be used more often.

Wait that makes no sense, if theres more intel for SL wont more people not go SL.

Reduction = less points for SL.

.85 7 intel for SL kit.
.86 1 intel for SL kit

i agree to anything that means more spawns for INS, more realistic and better for gameplay.

OMG Juniper have you lost your marbles.. let me help you find them. :D

Spawn cars were a nightmare, soooooooooo many times one or two idiots would get every spawn killed in seconds.. using them to drive them to the action. I found it amazingly frustrating.

You park your spawn car nice and safe... someone spanws and drives it into the fight. Please don't bring those days back.

edit: the new rules concerning distance from command post will help many insurgent maps ala hideouts.

true tommy, id rather see hideout min distance decreased to like 150m and INS having RP's i suppose.

There isn't any limit in 0.86 anymore!

thats better, ill wait till .86 then to pass judgment but it sounds better, along with the reveled cache thing;
updated insurgency to only have 2 caches available at a time instead of the current 3.

I'm only in for smaller build radius for hideouts, that would be legendary.

I use to love the spawn cars.

Im pondering on whether if we brought them back they'd fit in with the 'updated' Project Reality.

I still have nightmares of idiots that drove them (un)intentionally into enemy fire or retards that sat in front of one waiting for someone to spawn so they could spawnkill them.

At least random RPs made more sense, entire Insurgent army coming out of a backseat of some old Yugo car kinda looked like this:

LOL...what the hell is up with that van? is that real? there could have been 2 dozen fatalties if things went just a little worse.

Yeah. I been saying about this for a WHILE just like everyone else who play Insurgent alot.

Insurgent with 1 or 2 fixed main like spawn+"lets reveal Cache position" cache spawn+hideout.
In writing it seems alot but in real playing its frustrating.

Bad Idea:
Rally point system for Coalition. This only results in mad for cache incendiary nade throwing 6 men wave attack untill eventually one of their incendiary lands on cache. (believe me. I have seen this so-many-times.)
But we can't remove rally for Conventional forces right? I have idea for this below under Good Idea.

Bad Idea:
Adding Rally point to Insurgent sounds good in writing. But that will organize Insurgent squad alot. Which many people say yes to if you like 'Teamwork'. But I'm not sure if I want to see 6 men bunch running around with AK in urban combat. It makes battle more like conventional vs conventional. The point of Insurgency mode is to bring totally different type of battle. Rally will only make Insurgency more like conventional battle. Which we want to avoid by any means.

Good Idea:
Making Insurgent hideout deploy like Rally point. This will give Insurgent instant 4 random spawn point that all Insurgent player can spawn on just like spawncar/fixed spawn that Player chose to.

Limit number of times BLUFOR can spawn on rally point in Insurgency mode.

on the contrary, rallys will make the insurgents able to come from all angles of attack, much more like insurgents rather than a very limited area as of now.

I really wish the distance from a command post and a distance from each other be decreased. On Albasrah the mosque command post is in the most horrible spot. You cannot put a hideout in the western part of the city.

A return to the days of moving into secure a position, hearing an engine start up from no where followed by the tink tink tink of bullets through glass? Nahh. Much prefer the gorgeous Hideout static and dynamic!

I don't think spawning in cars is a good idea.
On the points system shouldn't it be the other way around, insurgent SL has less points than the others?
He's the badass one, he would be the one who doesn't forget to burn evidence and doesn't give up any information when interrogated.

While the normal insurgents are weaker and crack more easily.

Btw that movie was rofl, I counted 25 people.
23 running ones and 2 still in the car in the end, one crawling next to it. Were they trying to sneak across the border maybe, would explain the running.
