If someone is more knowledgeable and knows its right let me know, but on the JDAM launch, the "pilot" calls "Fox 1, Fox 1". Now why on Earth would he be calling 2 simulated air to air missile launches? From all my experience of reading books, simulators, and going through all the commands for pilots (I'm in AFROTC hoping to be a fighter pilot) I have never come across Fox 1 being used for anything other than a simulated Air to Air missile launch. I think they just say, ordinance released or with JDAM, only Mavericks, HARMS, and Anti-Radiation missiles have unique fireing calls to my knowledge

I think your right as well, but I think this is what the dev's call a minor issue. Theres bigger fish to fry than fox one fox one for a jdam stryke. I see your point tho

Just to set it straight:
Fox One: AIM-7 Sparrow or other semi-active radar guided missile
Fox Two: AIM-9 Sidewinder or other infra-red seeking missile
Fox Three: AIM-120 AMRAAM or other active radar guided missile.
Sawce.

There are no sound files already ingame which says "bomb away" or whatever you want it to be.
If the Dev's were to put in a proper sound file they'd have to get someone to voice act it which can be a hassle, they have more important things to develop atm.

Not that big of a deal, but even him just saying something like 'Fox 1 Fox 1" really helps with immersion. If they fix it, great. If they don't fix it, I don't really care...still sounds cool though...
