Hi all,
One of the member of the French Forces DeV Team,
Sgt_Doctor is working on making a "new" player model using parts of the existing player models.
Actually, we have already done skins for EuroForces player models, here is an exemple :

Fed up with the EuroForces models, Sgt_Doctor has decided to mix some existing models.
The first models were not very good, but he has managed to come to a good result. Here are some pics, be carefull there are very WIP screens. The texture is not ready yet :

There are no apparent mistakes on the bodies, like a head exceeding the helmet, etc.
My fellow wonders if it's possible to totally remove some parts of the bodies, like mag pockets, or even the water pocket on the back...
Thanks for you help,
Hauteclocque.

Not sure if you can do it by coding but i have read somewhere you can... Or you can throw it into max and edit it (Thats if it not EA/DICE models)

most pounches are part of the "kits" and not the palyermodel...so new kits might be the best way...
..and those playermodels are custom once? cos they look like EF models, but anyway good work!!

I have mixed EF bodies with US kits. I would like withdraw the camelback of the kit, it's possible ? (For example, sniper kit in PR doesn't have helmet.)

well mixing playermodels and kits is very possible (vbf2 palyermodels + vbf2 kits (EF and SF works also)) but! GB kits/playermodels doesnt really
fit to vbf2 once.
the snipers in pr have a SAS BF2:SF kit (i do not know which but maybe the sniper one?), and this kit doesnt have a helmet

, thats all.
removing parts of the kits like pounches etc/editing the kits is not possible for reason i am not sure which, maybe something with copyrights etc. so you better go with vbf2 or make your own like the IDF do.

For the FF, i would like use new equipements of the french army in Astan.
"Treillis Felin" ( French equivalent of Guerilla Arktis) + "Ciras" + "TC F NVG V2" (looks like Mich 2000)
And not "Trellis F2" + "Frag (Pare éclat)" + "Spectra"

It's an awfull test. I don't have any skill with Photoshop, i have just tried to put the US "bullet shield" (?!) on the EF body. Jeff, our skinner must do that properly with a ciras like.
(I agree, pouch bags are too big.)

Another problem with the texture :
As you can see here, there is a problem in the middle of the back, the texture is not regular...even if we try to link the left and the right side.
I wanted to know if other factions using EF body have the same problem with their deads

you can fix this : > just add camo splashes with same colour on the opposite sides of texture - left and right.
