guys pr seems to find some troubles with its engine, because of too much limitations, and EA doesnt seem to put an effort on updating it, of course its an outdated engine and theyre a multi million dollar company, but hey... idk if the engine is property of EA or what but, couldnt we get in contact with other bf2 mods and lets all donate some money and fund the bf2 engine updates? I mean Im sure were not talking about millions of dollars here, we could have a 20 dlr montly payment for some time, WHO WOULDNT PAY 20 DLRS TO PLAY PR????? and at the end if it doesnt work then we still have some money to make thing happen on pr

Not going to happen, EA wouldn't just sell their engine. Also I don't think people would want to pay a monthly fee to play PR.

Some people already pay a monthly contribution, but EA wont budge for cash

damn EA, but I mean its not like they should sell their engine to us... more like a team effort, we pay they get an updated engine for their use and we benefit from it too... but anyws really thinking about it I think I made a pretty stupid thread

Maybe I heard wrong, but didn't the mods win a new engine for PR as a result of winning Mod of the year this year? Rumor is that v.0.9 is going to be utilizing this new engine. Or am I just hearing non-sense down the grapevine?

You are. There is a article allready by Rhino why the new engine is not currently suited for PR.

Yeah i have seen some vids on youtube from the c4 engine and it looks kickass. Wasnt the rdev2 and rcon2 able to code so that you can lean around corners?
