Here's the bug:

Once a firebae has been built to completion and cant be shoveled any more, it still does not give you the option of choosing it as a spawn point for about 30seconds to 1 minute.

When you look on the map it hows it still in construction stage.

I apologize for not having screen shots or a video of this. Also I don't think that this is something specific to any certain map. Ive had it happen on Op. Archer, Kashan and Muttrah.

Clearly the FB has been completely built in all cases. Ive seen it about 3-4 times and it seems to be something completely new to v0.85.

Ive searched the threads and I found nothing on this but squad members have all noticed it in all cases.

I thought, that this is happenig, when the FOB got destroyed and rebuild. Its still overrun for 1 and a half minute, isnt it?

IDK. Ive only noticed it on freshly built FB's. Not ones that have been destroyed previously and than rebuilt.

Speculation: Five shovels can build firebases quite fast, and maybe there's a delay before they allow spawning on newly placed FBs to avoid instant spawn spam . . .

Notably, one shovel on a firebase takes a good amount of time to complete. By the time it's finished, the spawn dot is present and accessible for the team. However, the foundation was set and remained longer than 30-60 seconds, so by the time the lone shovel finished, the delay had expired.

Ok let me clarify. Ive been playing since 0.5. This is not normal. Its not cause it was built to fast or too slow.

Im just trying to let the devs know that something is going on here.


Unless there is a spawn availability timer im unaware of Ive never heard of such a thing and Ive seen people spawn even before it was completely built. That is actually the norm.

This is not a bug, it has to do with the fire base being overrun just wait a few seconds.
