Well, it sounds strange, but to me, the medic class is addictive. Without it I feel helpless and underpowered. I usually play medic these days, though I am pretty good at for example leading a squad, I cant stand not having a medic kit in my hands. I like really like playing as the medic, and the .86 update with limited medics is not a problem, it will just make guys like me more valuable .

However, does anyone else feel this addiction, and what do you think of the .86 update?

I used to have this addiction, and if im not squadleader, i play as medic, if i play as anything else, then i feel useless.

But now i have grown another addiction, im addicted to power! Im addicted to being squadleader!

Medic is one of my preferred roles, mainly because I can't shoot, and if you can't shoot, medic!

i don't mind being medic and if i have to i don't mind it i quite like it and usualy first to volenteir to be one

I loike bein' medic! I really do prefer playing medic if I'm not able to fly my beloved LB.

Been playing Battlefield, BF2142 and PR for quite some while now, and only recently have I ventured in to Piloting, AT'ing, Grenadiering.........next to being medic. Im almost always a full time medic as I felt like most people I encountered didnt do it the way I would do it, and I always love to help people get back on there feet

Helping other players is actually one of the things that makes me go on and playing medic, its a really important aspect of being a medic, so agree on that

Well when the shit starts hitting the fan, everyone is suppressed your taking fire, people are going down.. noone knows what to do, and how to do it. You, the medic, emerges through the smoke, reach out for the fallen, and revive him. Hero of the day! YEAH!

on Russian and British maps that got no choppers or jet my favourite class is the medic because of the accuracy of the L85A2 and Ak74M and other than that everyone respect the medic
If there was chopper/jets on the map I fly them.

haha yeap You keep the squad going. I also always provide rear and flank cover. As most of the rifleman are to focussed on making long-ranged sniper kills.

Hm, I like medic, Just not enough to be hording it.

Personally, w/ the .86 Patch, M249 w/ ELCAN ftw ;D

Eh.. Even with the Elcan.. I probably won't be able to hit much with it.

It's strange.. With some rifles I can hit almost anything, but most I just fail miserably.. That's why I like medic class. ;D

I got the same problem, I can't hit shit so I just turn to the medic class.

I can never hit anything, even with a scope.
So i just play medic and stay back while the rest shoots and I go and heal them.

I suppose my ability to hit things also has something to do with how much I've drunk before playing...

Been playing medic since i first bought bf2. I love it in PR.I can't hit anything so there's no temptation to run off. I just like being valuable to the squad.

Hehe, Medic is already the most valuable unit next to the Squad Leader/NCO. (in my own opinion, as for I always get the medic then the rest)

I love being a medic and I'm a pretty good shot.

I used to always play as medic and I still will if I'm with people I know but too many times have I pubbed with random peeps and they always give up.

I couldn't count the number of times I've yelled "don't give up" to my squad mates, they don't always listen or believe you can actually save them.
