My BF2 PR keeps ctd every time i join an online match. My files are both the required to play .85 I downloaded both from fileplanet. Also my bf2 was patched to 1.41 before either of these was installed.

When i start a host i can run the game just fine.

MY system specs are:
2.8ghz quad core
4gigs ram
1gb 9800gx2 (running it as a single core right now so only 512)
Vista 32bit

I've tried running this in XP 32 bit compatibility mode as well without any effect.
I've played bf2 off and on since i first saw it advertised on plantbf2.com but I'm new to the forums. Sorry if i missed anything but any help would be greatly appreciated.

run it in windowed mode and see if it gives you an error message.
and when, while loading the online map, does the game crash?(%)

I was able to play allright lowering my video settings from the highest level so from what a friend was telling me it sounds like the game isn't able to access all of my ram and that might be the problem. I'll run it windowed next time i launch though. Thanks for the help.

Try increasing your resolution-worked for several people i know.
