To Strike At Karkand 2???

I had some epic matches on that map back in the baby days.

Edit: User was warned for "Vague thread title". the forums aren't an online guessing game so please make more explicit threads titles so people can respond accordingly. Thread retitled.

Probably became too small for PR gameplay and had to be removed/replaced with self-made maps.

shame was it an EA map?

Well...if it was in BF2 it probably was unless dice made it.

You mean the night version? Those were fun maps, along with Mashtuur and Sharqi. Strange that back then I'd think "okay, enough of this, back to BF2 again" while today nothing is better than PR.

i remember it being rubbish and having major issues with bugs.

no not karkand night...i'm pretty sure there was a map strike at karkand 2 custom made

karkand 2 was spammy and to vanilla like. thats it.

i cant believe you left your counterstrike match to type that insightful remark.

S@K2 was a pretty rubbish map, had loads of bugs (and exploits) and no longer fitted into PR after I think v0.3.

The game always turned into a huge stalemate over the fight for the 3, unrealistic bridge setup and was very repetitive each game, was fun the first 10 times it was played, after that became boring.

Sorry, not everybody prefers 1337 reality gaming...this side of gaming is turning into a snobbish sort (not the PR sector, reality sector in general).

Back on topic:

I'd like to see strike at karkand 2, whether it's played or not, the vanilla one had a lot of potential, if it was properly edited.

Which is why I said that I would like to SEE it, not play it. I had figured it was just a edited version of the original.
