Sniper Scope Crosshairs

Hello, just thought i'd make a suggestion for the mod about the sniper scopes.
Since this is a reality mod, i thought i'd bring in some reference from real life snipers to back up my suggestion.
Basically, the problem i've had with snipers in BF2 since day one, is their terrible crosshairs (see BF2 M24 scope/ BF2 SVD Scope at the bottom). At 100m, the crosshairs simple blocks the view of the enemies head, making it a hit or miss/basically a lucky shot, since you have to guess the distance and bullet drop as well.
So my suggestion is simple that you reduce the crosshairs size on the scopes to a much thinner design. If you look through a sniper (ref. SVD Scope PSO-1 or Through 2 uknown sniper scopes, Through what looks like the M24 scope), you will see that the middle, is extremely thin, but able to see. This allows the sniper to accurately aim at an enemies head.
I've included a reference to the accuracy of the M24 (using the M3A scope), which shows that at a range of 500, you can hit a target within 3 square inchs or less. If you look at a screen shot from BF2, you will notice that at 100m, the crosshairs simple covers more than 3", disallowing for proper aiming.
Similar arguement goes for the SVD (ref. SVD scope PSO-1, near the bottom of the page) showing that the scope crosshairs for this rifle is thinner than seen in BF2 (ref. SVD Scope), and needs to be made thinner for a more realistic aim, rather than a game of "guess where the head is in my scope".
Love the mod, just hope you can make this tiny little suggestion of mine come true since it's something i've wanted from BF2 for a long time. Something similar to another mod's crosshairs (ref. Other Mod's Scope - OPK mod) would be fantastic.
Sorry to drone on, and i hope i got the right word (crosshairs) or i'm going to sound like a complete *** about now, but being my clan's sniper in BF2, it would be great to see it.
