A new R-com set-up means a new team, and we have a lot of jobs available!

If you have ever wanted to not only be part of the PR team, but to also play a large role within the community, then now is your chance.

We have got a large range of positions available, and all we need now is some crazy people who don't mind doing a job for free!

Map Auditors

Outline:
Mapping auditors work with management to create interesting map packs that the community wants, not what they "think" the community wants. you will also have to work with admins to develop scenario nights, and create some ideas. Most of what you will do will require simple .GPO edits, however, certain tasks may require changing lighting and other aspects of maps. (to learn how to audit a map, simply click here.)

Requirements:
Ability to edit gameplayobjects files (.GPO edits)
Fairly good at using the editor
Pack up maps ready to play.

Russian Representative.

Outline:
The Russian PR community is fairly expansive. Your role here will be to integrate yourself within the Russian communities and to offer them a chance to play on some organised team events. You will work with the Russian community to start up some non-official events, and to help promote them in the PR forums.

Requirements:
Speak both Russian and English fluently
Be integrated well into a Russian community. A server admin/ moderator/ or even someone who just posts up there a lot!
Ability to work well with people, act in a mature manner, and to communicate very well.

Brazilian Representative.

Outline:
The Brazilian community is already well established. There are a variety of events held, and a lot of players supporting them. Your role will be to assist the community by offering R-Com services to them, to ensure they can continue to function in the professional and successful manner that they have started with, and to help promote any events where necessary.

Requirements:
Speak both Portuguese and English fluently
Be integrated well into a Brazilian community. A server admin/ moderator/ or even someone who just posts up there a lot!
Ability to work well with people, act in a mature manner, and to communicate very well.

If you are at all interested in any of the above roles, then please pm me with your details, maybe give some info about yourself, some of your previous work etc etc.

I'm not after CV's or anything formal, a simple pm will suffice!

please do take into account that the role of the [R-COM] team is changing, and if you are interested, you read up on this thread to get some more information:

Cheers guys,

When auditing maps, are mappers provided with the editor files from the original author?

If they are avaliable, then they will be given.

Unfortunately however, this usually isn't the case, so you have to build them up by merging the files together and creating a new layers.con file. It's fairly easy to do, even i've managed to do it :p

Paint shop pro is good, but can you open PSD files since most of the "templates" used are PSDs. If you can then awesome.

Thanks to everyone who applied. We are currently going through R-Com applicants and users should be given their tags in the next few days.

if you didn't get in, then thanks for applying, but there may be roles avaliable in the future!

P.S, sorry I didn't respond to everyone's PM's, there were quite a few!

I could go for a mapper, how well i still need to fix the object movement, and learn something here and there. im doing a map already each day a hour or so, kinda stupid with that shifty movement.

But in a week or 2, I might put some screens online, to let you guys see where i wanna go to.
And I'm planning to buy programs in a month, on editing mini-maps and all the other thing

like,
photoshop cs3 or 4
3Dmax studio
and other needs,

PS, any age limit
