Will the release be available literally at midnight? Should I stay up for it? I'm excited, sorry!

ive never seen a pr release at exactly midnight on the date they set a new version to be released so I wouldnt count on it this time. plus, if they did release at midnight, what timezone are we talking? I think thats why they dont release at midnight, because its not midnight everywhere at once.

Haha I understand about the timezones which I forgot to add in there since I posted near to 12 where I live, but I would stay up to 2 or so is what I meant. But I guess not

if you have to stay up for it than just goto bed and get it tomorrow, even if you stayed up you would have to wait even longer for it to finish downloading than finish installing.

Most importantly, you'll have no one to play with since few servers will be updated and few players will have the files. Trust me...I stayed up for .85. Yes it was F-ing exciting to enjoy the game early with a handful of people, but it wore off after a day. Maybe it is worth the feeling of having the game first, kind of like Halo fan boys camping out, but its up to you.

Don't worry about it, by Saturday everyone will have it and will be enjoying the glory of the new version.

Getting the PR patch out is like herding cats...don't expect it to be 100% on time

There isn't many good mirrors/torrents at first either, but since this is just a patch that shouldn't be such a delay.

There was a small group of Aussies who got 0.85 first and we were playing skirmish size maps while we waited for everyone else to get it.

First match was on Archer (never played the old version) remember being immediately impressed with the map, the Taliban, the AK74 and overall deviation changes.
