well there you have it, they were not in my squad and the game was messing about in general beside that i.e there was only 1 squad it would let me join.

that wouldn't happen to be squad 9?

they where squad 6 and 5 if remember

It is a BF2 bug, It has happened to me before in older versions, also when they are killed by an enemy it displays it as a TK and they can TK without punishment and gain kills from it.
