Edit: The Microsoft installer was doing weird stuff, like saying it downloaded 4mb, then 10, then 4, then 20, and the progress bar kept moving back and forth. Now it's "done" at about 75% of the progress bar.

This is what it says: "Download complete. You can now disconnect from the internet" Uh, no thanks? The only button I have is cancel, it says SETUP IS NOT COMPLETE.

your not ment to press anything if you leave it and let it carry on it starts DownLoading fully
then u will be done. just ignore "you can disconnect from the internet now"

Have i missed something here?

Since patching to 0.86, my game CTDs as it loads. The screen goes black as though i'm about to see the blacksand studios logo, but immediately CTDs. Strangely it now does the same with vanilla BF2.

Edit : A simple restart solved the problem!

WTF??? so what. PR is free, and something that has made a lame game(bf2) into something more than special.
so what if you have to wait a bit.
if they go by GMT times, you still have some 7 hours left of the day.
