Medic's M4 vs Assault's M4

Am I the only one that have experienced that USMC:s medic M4 is slower in burst mode than the assault version? I find this highly annoying since I can acheive quite a high rate of fire with my assault in tight situations while the medic can only spray one burst in like every second? One shot mode is good for most situations, but sometimes u need to spray and focus less on accuracy.

I think you mean the m16 yes?

Its an M16. Spec Ops has the M4.

As for speed, I don't notice the difference. Never noticed it, so I don't know.

I think there is a difference. Assualt m16 spits out rounds like its full auto, but the medic one will have a slight pause btwn bursts.

it's the same weapon without a GL for the medic, there are no differences because there can't be.

The M4 is a different weapon.

True, my misstake, it's about M16 of course. As Scarface also wrote "I think there is a difference. Assualt m16 spits out rounds like its full auto, but the medic one will have a slight pause btwn bursts.". I also think that the medics m16, that should be exactly the same as the assault's except gl, is in fact slower. I am pretty sure it is that way, if not both me and Scarface got some kind of computer game based mental disorder with fixation of game details. I also beleive that the speed change was introduced in this new 0.3 version, never noticed anything before, you try out and you will see. Try and shoot as fast with assaults m16 and then try the medic's m16.

Yea someone else try it out. The assault one seems to accpet button clicks to fire before the next burst so that its sorta like electronic triggers for paintball guns. The feel IS different with the assault, it just feels like it effortlessly rapid fires where as the medic m16 does not.

Eggman test it out.

Hmm if i get a chance to play tonight i deffinatly will look at this. although its rare for me to play those classes lately... and i never stray from single shot most of the time.

while talking about 3 shot burst, i think you need t otake it off ofthe AK101s, if its still in game, that is the most useless fire mode ever! the recoil makes it pointlesss.

Haven't noticed this really. But agree that the 3 round burst on the ak should be removed.

I dont think it should be removed as its realistic, just make them more useful.

I know it's realistic just annoying when you're trying frantically to switch to auto from single shot or vice versa and you end up with useless 3 round burst.

yea 3 round is teh suck on the 101.

Well I always justified it as it is a non regular combattant using an averagely powerful weapon on a burst mode so they won't be very reliable with it....

But isnt MEC a well trained amry and not some civs with an ak?

Its a medic- his first duty is to be a top battlefield medic not proficient in weapons use. I'm not saying he will be awful but I do believe he should be disadvantaged with regard to the assault class.

yea but panic pulling a trigger needs no skill or experience.

no...and if you 'panic pull' on burst you will end up firing into the air very quickly...recoil

Very true isn't this why the single shot should be the first option assuming they are slightly trained they will be told to use single shots to control recoil.
