[0860] +joinServer parameter not working with pr.exe

When i try to use my custom PR shortcut parameter set with pr.exe i get the error message, that i should run "pr.exe" instead of bf2.exe.


This is what i've used until 0.85 (except pr.exe):

"H:\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" [b]+restart +playerName .TeRR0R.[GER] +playerPassword xxxxxxxxx +szx 1680 +szy 1050 +joinServer 74.208.145.77 +port 16623[/b]
this shortcut works when i leave out the +joinServer / +port parameter!



pr.log says:

gloryhoundz.com directory not found, deletion confirmed

Saved original BF2 splash screen as 00000000.256.original

Copy PR Splash screen 00000000.256 to main BF2 directory

Launching BF2
BF2 Exiting

PR Splash screen stored at H:\Battlefield 2/mods/pr/00000000.256 , moved copy deleted

Saved original BF2 splash screen as 00000000.256
Deleted back up splash screen

Deleting news ticker directory: Deleted C:\Users\bs\Documents/Battlefield 2/LogoCache/www.gloryhoundz.com
Any ideas how i can get this +joinServer parameter working? or is it a bug?

It's a known bug and has been fixed for the next version.

is it possible to give us a corrected pr.exe before the next release?

Its nothing to do with the PR exe , as you can see from the logs it passes the parameters on to BF2 exactly as written. The error is occurring later on inside BF2.

Secondly a new client would mean you failed md5 checks on every server and you could never play a game :D
