CQB Accuracy

I was on Asad Khal the other day and I tried to put a 3 round burst into the back of somone with Iron sights (we were very close). I gave it no waiting time at all and the bullets went EVERYWHERE.
This is just slightly unrealistic. It is turning into BF2V accuaracy. In real life you wouldn't need to use any 'wait' time if you were so close up.
Even I can do better (i have been shooting ONCE). This is basically like speed shooting.
So just a suggestion if they could increase the accuracy when close up.

or just replace "wait"-time with animation of aiming

not possible with bf2 engine.

i mean "longer" aim animation (just like on deployed LMG now). Animation is long but after that you dont have deviation penalty.

Just as many people will complain then.
Just wait a second. It doesn't take long before you're accurate in CQB - and remember that the enemy has the same settle time.

This has always been the best solution, along with harsher recoil animations. The added bonus is that animations can be almost perfectly tweaked for different sight types, so dedicated cqb sights like red-dots can shine in the way they do in real life.

if an enemy is at 30 mts and you have ironsights, just wait a second or two, and shoot single shoots. in the second or third shot you will have killed it.
if its nearer, just spray him, if he is 10mts, spray him with a 1 sec wait or less.

But i mean when engaging fromm about 10-20m with iron sights, most people would be dead on accurate. I saw another post suggesting the same thing as me, which is to decrease the cone of fire. I don't want to decrease it as such, because at the moment long range shooting is great, if they could MORPH it to help CQB combat, that would be great.
Sometimes in CQB combat you just can't wait for settle time. Your reactions take over and you just try to shoot them. At close range walking and shooting SHOULD be accurate as the army have training exercises to specifically combat this issue.
And yes i do realise with the BF2 harcoding somethings can't be possible, and as I don't know which things are and arn't possible I am suggesting this.

with all the recommended wait times and nuanced deviations, perhaps we should request that a small screen be implemented in the upper right corner (where the minimap used to be). on this screen we can have a chart that displays 'gun type' 'range' 'suggested wait times' etc.
I blasted a guy with the shotgun at 1m and he still killed me, we both rounded the corner at same time, both guns drawn, i lost. there were quite a few incidents like this this weekend. I mostly attributed to ping. seems average ping is higher with this new release...

THATS the problem. You should be able just to put an accurate three round burst into him at that range.
