Hehe, i just had to post this, i had this great firebase set up on Operation Barracuda today, it was inside the cave just by the lake close to the waterfall, we had to try for ages, but finally got it up. Never trust "try again in a better location"

The firebase inside, and no, it did not block the entrance


The MG we also got up, covering the entrance perfectly!

That's an awesome first post.

It makes me giddy thinking about the enemy trying to find it.

-The enemy would just have to have a few guys standing on top of it and the spawn would be neutralized, the .50 cal could be taken out with a incendiary grenade or a HAT and it would be down. As a spawn behind your lines it'd work just as fine as any other FOB but due to the limited exits it would be vulnerable to camping, thereby neutralizing it again while trapping a large amount of your people inside or losing you some tickets. It's just limiting your side's options without giving you any advantages.

Yeah, never spoil a good firebase by putting anything else up. All it does is notify the enemy that a firebase is near.

That was an awesome firebase though. Good job on that one.

Yeah, the MG might of been a bit revealing, but meh, it was still quite hard to see.

Oh yeah, speaking of which, never try to place a firebase inside destructible buildings...

I do not know what I was thinking, but I tried to put a hideout up in one of those two story destructible buildings, it killed me and blew up the building. On top of it all, it just put the darn thing outside the building anyways.

I posted this over in the other thread but thought to add it in here for those who may have missed it.
