Chechyan Bayonet reach

The Chechyan bayonet can stab a few feet beyond the physical model itself. Video is on Fools Road, also happens on Mestia as well.

I've also had this problem with the retainers as an insurgent/civie. (one more second and i could have sprinted away)

That's not a bug....it's to give the bayonet more reach than your average knife.

That looks a little off. Maybe the 3p animation wasn't changed after the bayonet's reach was lengthened?

seeing as a knife is what a fifth the size of a rifle seems natural that it would have a much larger reach.
the longer range is compenstated by slower draw times.
go onto the british maps, they are the same when they have bayonets.

with the hitboxes as buggy as they can be with knifing this just gives the bayonet more of an advantage
