Just watched some random documentary at National Geographic. It was about Dubai, and I believe it was called "Giant Constructions; The Island Wonder". Anyway, I recognised some of the music to be the same as the intro music for certain maps. I just caught the end of the documentary, in which they were talking about building the worlds largest marina.
the muttrah song was in japanese TV or commercial, i think someone said those songs are free to use

ye some of the music was helped crated by someone who works in the Entertainment Industry (TV) and as such the music has been used in a few TV programs since
I'm not 100% on the full details you will need to ask I think KillPirate about that.

You'd certainly think so yeah! Actually haven't played in a few months though, and won't be able to start up again until late August. Don't easily forget any of those loading tunes, though

Yeah, i've noticed tv-programs using PR music before, most notably (from my experience) 5th Gear using the music playing when Qwai loads. Was kinda cool hearing that .

They had some Devil Dogs on that patrol with the Army, right on.
I did hear the music for Korengal Valley though, pretty sweet.
I think I might put that on my IPOD when I go to Afghanistan in October. PR music is very emotional to me though, reminds me a lot of when I was in Iraq.

Thanks, nice video. But that was the music for Kashan (Desert Heat), not for Korengal (Afghan Uprising).

i've seen a lot of PR's music around, I really think they've used it well, i've always really liked PR music, its one of the best parts to the 'outside' game.

Large parts of the PR music was published on jamendo.com, the sourceforge of music so to speak.
