I didnt see this as a repost so i am posting it..
As the title says I think it would be cool to have weapon jamming. This would make a second aspect to the game when you cant go fully auto or risk jamming you gun. Or it could be just a random event (like it happens in RL) where you have to address the situation and adapt to it. It would be something cool and interesting to have in this game, particularly for the insurgents since AK's are known to jam and jam often... more realism ftw!!!

Resuggestion, hardcoded as the bf2 engine cannot support it.
Could always play on a server with a bad ping

sometimes it makes you reload twice
particularly for the insurgents since AK's are known to jam and jam often
you sure about that? there a famous vid aroudn where a AK gets dragged through sand and still fires.

I believe this has been suggested before and has been shot down by the good ole term, 'hard coded' maybe I'm just getting my suggestions mixed up

hard coded i can uderstand since i dont know much about coding personally... as for the ak jamming, the expended bullet comes out and sometimes get stuck the the barrel if your firing at a rapid rate.

"Hardcoded" means something is coded into the BF2 engine and can't be changed by the PR team.
Also, weapons jamming is a resuggestion. Searching for "jamming" gave me at least two threads (and I didn't nearly look through all the results), one of which is this thread:

So ... thread locked.
