People are disregarding the point of this game

Ever since we got past the 0.8 hump I've been seing a high increase in 8 year olds, people with no mics, squadleaders with sniper kits, medics not healing (not knowing how to heal) chopper pilots who cant get off the landing pad, people who get sniper kits but dont know how to use them.
Above that, rudeness has shot up..in general on the servers its "FUCK OFF NOOB" Or rather then saying, "Mate could you please no get the humvee, we are using it" Its "Oi, dipshit nOoOb, piss of thats our humvee" *gets in humvee, TKs the victim by running him over*
On top of that, theres waaay less tactics being used. There needs to be serious punishment for TKing. Im seeing grenades lobbed everywhere now with no consideration for collateral damage.
Going back to Mics, Either no one talks in a squad, or I get a green message *sorry no mic* but half the time the person with no mic is the squad medic, lmg kit or even the squad leader...
Is this because PR has gotten alot more publicity and all the BF2 COD4 kids are like ooooooo GunZZZ, and they dont give a bats *** about the point of the game, only there kill count?

Its a nightmare to admin PR atm, passworded servers ftw.

-My only advise to you would be to locate better servers or play at different hours than you are now, it's about the only thing you can do. How many Australian servers are there, by the way?

It's like this on every server at the moment, you have to stick it out, like the rest of us do. If you do play on Australian servers I can guarantee you this is a far shot of what it is actually like, people talking to that like each other on bigD would be removed instantly. Also, I'm guessing your one of the people who punishes every time your accidentally killed?
I understand your angry at the moment because hey, the game just isn't played like it used to be played. bigD is holding a very large campaign soon, why don't you sign up to that when it comes out? Anyway, most of the stuff you claim just wouldn't go unpunished on our servers.
*This is of course if you play on Australian Servers

I agree it's worse than ever at the moment. Since I've been here (.5) the period after release where teamwork and gameplay goes out the window has increased over time. I'm starting off squads and at points yelling at people to follow my bloody orders (usually followed by a swift kick).
Here's a case in point of a pretty bad encounter (the guy responded and spoke fluent english):
* = player
"Right nice work getting the aa up, * man it please"
2 minutes later: "Hey * I told you to man the aa"
Another minute later: "Jesus christ, fine (other player) man the aa"
10 minutes later, across the map and advancing into enemy territory:
"Hey * I want you to take point, get in the alley and move ahead"
15 seconds of staring later: "Hey * get in the alley please, I can't take point"
10 seconds later, temper is mounting: "* get in the alley, take point, MOVE"
10 seconds later: "God damn it, get in the alley or get out of the squad"
5 second pause and then he gingerly goes into there. I foillow up from behind in frustration and the alley is perfectly clear. My clan member on mumble says to me "they're fucking useless, eh?"
I set a rally and order the squad north, we get contact within 30 seconds. I bunker down into some cover and start shooting. A nade lands next to me and I run, but it goes off and I get friendly fire damage from it.
"God damn it, don't throw nades at me, they're not at my position"
I had the enemy position marked with an attack marker.
10 seconds later a nade lands next to me.
Needless to say:
* teamkills joethepro36
Kicks * from squad.
I raged so hard that after about another half hour of continuely lukewarm gameplay I quit.
It's happening all the time, squadmates who are generally **** and don't help each other out.
Twice in a row (start of a round wise) I had a guy "claim" on voip autorifleman even when I said no because I had already assigned it to a clanmate, (random player) takes the autorifle kit. I'm a kick friendly guy so it wasn't too bad but jesus, the cheek on some people!
The release is better than ever as always, don't get me wrong. But bloody hell, the players are worse.

Yes.
Alot of it is due to EA putting out that damn GET PR NOW! Message. Big mistake. Word got out, and all the kiddies who picked up PR started telling their friends. Eventually, I think they'll all be driven out come 2 more releases.
I also had an annoying as hell encounter the other day. We had a JoeBumbleF*ck medic the other day on Korengal. After getting wounded in a firefight, we're all getting healed up.
I was still bleeding out, I call out to Joe many times over the ComRose "NEED MEDIC!" He responded by running around healing OTHER squads, instead of getting his own squad patched up first (oh, he had no mic, and didnt communicate via text at all). So eventually after much bitching by the entire squad, he comes over to me. And stands there with his medkit out next to me.
Apparently, he had been running to heal all the other squads and not knowing he had to hold down left click to heal with the kit. Long story short, after about 6 attempts at telling him what to do with the kit, he stood there like a retard. The rest of our squad then proceeds to gun him down and kick him out (so he'll have to spawn at main, a long ways away from us

)

Agreed, someone said "Players are hardcoded"
Anyways, I've noticed there are no smacktards on the =]H[= server past 11:00 PM(So I game all night and sleep all day, so I can actually get in some good rounds). Play late at night, I guarantee there will be a drop in noobs, hopefully not a drop in players.

Choose the servers you play on, and squads you play in, carefully, and you get alot less problems

I think today was just a really bad day for PR servers.
I tried for hours to find a good squad/team/server. it was a lost cause. It happens every now and then, sometimes all the moron PR players play at once. Like others have said just stick it out.

It was always "RTFM you smelly noob,"
Smacktardery is at it's peak on Aussie servers though. The other day I was manning a 50 overlooking the fort on Archer suppressing the AR snipers up there so we could effectively fight for the caches. Until some faggot got in my technical and drove it off. He got out, and I moved it back, but he did it twice more before I TK'd him.
It's as though dozens of genuine Wumwuts are signing up for PR.

have you tried? XD lol yeah i'm seriously considering joining a clan these days just to get into a passworded server without idiots who SL with no mic and grab a sniper kit.
(i know this isnt the suggestion forum but bear with me)
for the SL problem, we can always discourage it one way, there are only 2 kits that anysquad leader should spawn with and that's SL scoped or iron. Anything else is useless by comparison and a waste of time to spawn with. If one could make it so the SL can't spawn in with any other kit. he can still go grab other kits but now we wont have some noob who hasn't bothered to read the manual create a squad, spawn the first thing he can and grab some other kit, now he'll have to go Via the squad leader kit.
this will have several effects, first off people learn that as SL the officer kit is what is essential for you to spawn with (even if they dont yet know how to use it, since they have it, they can always ask around and wont have to wait to find a crate and try it out)
2nd, it will slow down the guys who just hop in and say "OOOH big shiney machine gun!." at least a little.
3rd, you wont accidentally spawn in without it (seriously if it's happened to you before, you know how annoying it is)
4th, if someone didnt know a SL is supposed to have an officers kit instead of just a regular rifleman...well now they know.

the nade portion could have been due to the nades bouncing off stuff where it shouldn't. it happens allot it's been ehre since bf1942 where the nade should have gone past something decides to bounce back at you even though it clearly should have cleared it.
