I've noticed that when you get revived you can run around and every thing just like nothing ever happen for about 5 to 8 secends then you start to see the blood and everything. Which is good if your in the mid. of the street and there is still gun fire near you so that you can get back to a safe place to get healed up but just wanted to let yall know.

This might occur when the medic drops a field dressing by the body. Upon reviving you, the soldier consumes the dressing and is in a better state of health near instantly, giving him a small time without the black and white vision, and that same amount of time to run.

Straight reviving without the field dressing will result in the revived soldier seeing black and white. This should be easy to test. :)

Revive a player with just the pen, and have them recount what they see. Then revive them with a field dressing on him, and have them recount.

It seems to happen when playing on Vista. On my Vista computer I've never gotten the black-white screen (though I can't run anyway) but on my XP computer I always get black-white screen when I'm revived or dying. It seems that nobody knows how to fix it, so whatever.

But I don't use vista and I get it all the time.

Some Nvidia graphic-cards seem to have this effect.
After some more testing I found the cause of the problem:

The missing near-death effect is caused by the new Nvidia GeForce drivers. The last known driver without this bug is: 177.92

The bug only shows in conjunction with Anti-Aliasing turned on. If it is turned off the shader will work with newer drivers, too.

Recommendation:

If you are affected by the bug try downgrading your drivers to version 177.92. If you can't use those drivers for any reason you can also disable anti-aliasing if you want the near-death shader back.

I confirm the post above on my machine, with AA on I no longer get the black and white screen (I miss the black and white effect but I really prefer AA for the other 99% of the time I'm playing).
