Don't have Win. XP! :(

I need to reformat my pc but I do not have the installation CD. What I do have is the sticker with the CD key.
Can I use another Win. XP CD and use my CD key with it? Or do I have to go out and buy another win. XP?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Yes you can use another CD but technically im not too sure if its classed as piracy, since you have the licence to use it on that PC i would guess its not. However, if you have a PC with that sticker on it then odds on its probably a preinstall version of windows. Does it give you an option to reset windows back to factory settings?
Increasingly more and more computers are sold with the OS already preinstalled on a "hidden" section of your HDD you just have to have a recovery disc or the option to "recover" from the hidden partition on your HDD on boot up.
If you bought the PC as new with the OS installed then you should have the option to recover. Is it beyond its guarantee? If you didnt buy it in this state and it still came with the sticker you still have the option to use a different cd install as the licence is kind of "tagged" to that PC so its legal to do this.

The i386 folder is missing so making a bootable CD off of it is not an option. Yes, its beyond guarantee, and I tried to go back to a previous date but there isn't any neither is going back to factory settings...
Well, I'll give this a try once I get win. XP home CD.
Thanks bro, truly appreciate it.
