I've tried pbsetup, pbsvc, deleting and reinstalling pb, deleting the folders and reinstalling, reinstalling battlefield 2 and PR, the ! Bkp-bp fix, making sure my firewall has all pnkbstr.exes as exceptions, tried toggling between manual and automatic for those exe's in services.msc...

I've tried turning my firewall off, turning Avast antivirus off, disconnecting from the server at 50% loading and rejoining and other fixes, all in different orders with multiple attempts, and I still get kicked 2 minutes into joining every server except the "made in france" server, which I have not had the problem with...

Is there any other fixes I could try? Is this a problem with my modem or caused by a virus that my recent bootscans haven't detected? I just can't stay in the servers I join, I haven't had this problem before 0.86 and it has persisted for a week without changing, any ideas how to sort it out?

And yes I have read the the punkbuster problems thread and have not found a solution for this, I would be grateful if anyone who has solved the same problem to suggest a fix for it...

Have you redone the firewall rule for PnkbstrB.exe? Delete the old rule. reboot and then create another one for it. PnkbstrB.exe is getting blocked or shutting down. If this does not work, try typing this line in your in the BF2 console (default ~) when you join a server: pb_sleep 500
