How come arrest respawn times have not changed?

According to my 0.86 manual and changelog, when you get arrested the respawn time should now be 120 secs like when you get shot. However I have been arrested a couple of times now and my respawn time was over 200 seconds, just like in the last version.
Has it not been changed or is this a bug?

not sure if they have changed it or its a bug.
ive only been arrested once since the new update and it happend to me 200 respawn time, so i cant say its a bug or not really.
is it just me and frog or is there others out there that have had this happen to them?

My manual states:
"Civilians take 2 minutes to respawn when they
are killed or arrested (temporary spawn time penalties
still apply)."
and changelog states:
"- changed civilians to get static 2 min spawn penalty + temporary ones (suicide, TK, etc) but not normal death spawn penalties."
Yet my arrests have been over 200 seconds not 120 seconds.

either one of 2 things is happened befor you died, you had your med bag out, or you didn't have your hands out, and up.

what? there's an actual game mechanic for putting up your hands?

I thought it only made it easier to let yourself be identified as civilian. lol
well I learned something new today already
can anyone give specifics?

Yeah, all you do is Right mouse click, when your UNARMED, then you walk slow, then you can't be shot(you still can, but they get penalties)

thank you, I understood before HOW to hold up your hands but I didnt realize that you apparently have some advantage when beeing arrested while having your hands up. that's where it would be nice to have something a bit more specific. ex.: - 60sec spawntime reduction compared to not having your hands up

Some people have completely missed the point of this thread. The collaborator respawn after arrest doesn't match what is stated in the manual and the 0.86 changelog.
Go form your own thread if you want to debate other things regarding collaborators.

People are still going to shoot civilians until the punishment is severe enough to warrant better ROE awareness by the average pubber. I would like to see a court marshal type punishment where the player is forced to respawn at main after shooting a civi.

I probably should have put this in the PR bugs forum or PR 0.86 feedback.
