This first one has to be a resuggestion, but didnt see it in my search.

Abillity to Mute ALL Global Transmissions, while "In Game" and "Between Maps"

Secondly...

Would there be a way to change the color of the player name Icon so that one could tell if a player near you was using mumble??

So if you see me in game.. |TG-X| llPANCHOll
and if I am in Mumble |TG-X| llPANCHOll
It would only really need to be implemented for Smurfs, as if you were squaddies you would probably allready know if they were using mumble..

Thoughts??

It doesnt need to be Magenta per se just an example.

IIRC changing name tag colors was hard coded (Yes even that  )

but maybe theres another way to get the effect you wanted, like an icon maybe?

really you'd want a change to the Mumble overlay (if teh PB issues get fixed) where only nearby transmitting people were shown on it.

You can do this already, just link two seperate keys to the shortcut commands 'Deafen Self' and 'Mute Mic'. As long as you do this, it seems like all trasmissions have been muted ;)

You can only change the color of the people who are not in the same channel as you are, as far as I know.

I've been using overlay since I started using mumble and I have yet to get kicked. I've only tried it on 2 different servers though. One this overlay does is not work sometimes after loading a map. Could be just because I have 512MB RAM.

Unlike the rest of you, I do seem to have PB problems with the overlay, and am not really a fan of it cluttering up my sceeen.

Anyway, the overlay isnt what Im addressing. It would be nice to know what players around you are mumbling.
